Dave Walters, Walt's partner in Shannon who left to found Cambria Yachts in 1982, drives Shannon 38#30 Sandpiper (owned by John Gallipoli and Eden Yount of Fort Lauderdale, Florida) to a 3rd in class and 16th overall finish in the Marion to Bermuda 650 mile offshore race.
