Summer, 1978
Shannon moves to its current location at 19 Broad Common Road, also in Bristol. The facility is a brand new 10,000 square foot open span building designed from the ground up for boatbuilding. Since then, a 6,000 square foot prototype shop and an 8,000 square foot fiberglass shop featuring a state of the art heating and ventilating system to control temperature and humidity have been added.
