The Shoalsailer 35 Hull #1 with High Speed Package makes her debut at the Miami, FL boat show to a great reception, with Hulls 2 to 7 sold in the next three months. The Shoalsailer 35 is an evolution of the Shoalsailer 32, with Walt Schulz responding to a request for a performance sailboat shallow enough for Barnegat Bay, with a big swim platform, and the ability to do 11 knots under power to get home in time for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. With a Yanmar 125HP diesel and a custom-lifting tab located under the 3 foot swim platform hull extension, the Shoalsailer 35 HSP exceeds Walt’s expectations.
