The first Voyager 44 motor yacht Meridian is launched for Pat and Leo Marshall. This step up for Shannon into the major leagues of power boat building is big, fast and luxurious. Pat and Leo continue the pattern they had established aboard their Voyager 36 of wintering in Florida and summering in New England.
