Shannon weathers the Luxury Tax storm that swept through the boat industry with a smaller crew. Many great boat building companies went out of business during that period. With the help of Shannon owners, Shannon is enabled to become debt free and maintain excellent financial health without compromising its standards of boat building excellence. Throughout the entire saga from 1975 to 2007, there has never been a day when Walt Schulz and crew have not had at least one new Shannon under construction.
