Shannon commences construction of a series of Walt Schulz designed motor boats, first the Brendan 32 and then the Brendan 28. Like Shannon sailboats, the Brendans are the penultimate rough water boats, with the ability to maintain 20 knots (with a 26 knot top speed) in a stiff Buzzard Bay chop.
