Shannon 43 Interiors
Every Shannon 43 interior is custom created to suit the tastes and requirements of the individual owner. A sailboat should support a comfortable lifestyle, whether it is used for weekend cruises or for circumnavigations that last years. People go sailing for pleasure, adventure, exploration, and being close to nature. A boat should enhance these experiences. At Shannon, there are no limitations imposed on the design of the interior layouts because of a molded hull liner or fiberglass interior pan. The Shannon 43 has no standard modules that must be incorporated into layout. Selections such as a forward cabin with centerline double berth or traditional V-berths, one head or two, separate stall showers, a guest cabin with a double berth, and a main salon with a table and sliding settee transom berth seating result in infinite layout variation for the 43.
Interior plans like the ones below are suggested variations and are only a starting point for a Shannon owner. We work with you to create the best custom interior imaginable. So, if you would like to see what other owners have had Shannon build for them in the past, click on the areas of the Shannon 43 Interior Layout plan to bring up the photos.
This photo, looking aft in the main salon of Shannon 43 #39 is an example of the owners' (Myrna Colley-Lee and Morgan Freeman) discriminating requirements for unique styling features. The galley base cabinets have oversized fiddles and are constructed of cherry hardwoods in a graceful curve. An attached trash receptacle, also constructed of cherry, and an overhead dish rack are just a few of the features designed special for the galley of Shannon 43 #39.
