Shannon Pilot 43 Mk II Wheelhouse
When the cockpit becomes uncomfortable due to weather conditions, either rain, sun or cold, there is nothing more pleasurable than to retreat into a comfortable wheelhouse. Gone are the days (and nights) of wearing foul weather gear, sun protection and unpleasant cruising. The wheelhouse on the Shannon Pilot 43 Mk II is the ultimate escape from the elements. Critical visibility over the bow, through the side and rear windows is excellent, unrestricted and panoramic. See your sails, the sky, or the stars through opening Lexan hatches above the port and starboard swivel seats. With a reverse cycle air conditioning/heating system  installed, the Pilot 43 truly becomes the "yacht for all seasons".

In the wheelhouse of the Shannon Pilot 43 Mk II you navigate with the latest technology and equipment at your fingertips or climb effortlessly down through the sole hatches into the spacious engine room to check the engine, pumps, compressors or one of the many systems that keep your vessel operational.  Settee seats port and starboard are great for lounging on a dreary day or doubling as berths when guests arrive. Or, instead of a sette seat, one owner chose a game table starboard with a dining table to port. Seats are provided for the helmsman and navigator that swivel to become part of the overall seating area.

The new lowered profile of the Mk II has a sleek modern appearance that allows for excellent visibility from the cockpit as well as from inside the wheelhouse.
