Every Shannon Pilot 43 MK II interior is custom created to suit the tastes and requirements of the individual owner.   A sailboat should support a comfortable lifestyle, whether it is used for weekend cruises or for circumnavigations that last years.  People go sailing for pleasure, adventure, exploration and being close to nature.  At Shannon, there are no limitations imposed on the design of the interior layouts because of a molded hull liner or fiberglass interior pan.  There are no standard modules that must be incorporated into the layout.  Selections such as a forward cabin with a centerline double berth or traditional V-berths, one head or two, separate stall showers, a guest cabin with over and under single berths that convert into sofa seating, and lounge chairs with table or settee seating in the wheelhouse result in infinite layout variation for the Pilot 43.

For owners of the Shannon Pilot 43 MK II planning a circumnavigation or even just a cruise, protection from the elements offered by an interior steering station makes all the sense in the world.  To improve the exterior aesthetics from the first Pilot 43, Walt Schulz lowered the deck house roof line seven inches.  The interior plan is ideal for a couple living aboard, with dual forward facing seats and sea bunks in the wheel house, a large galley incorporating a trash compactor, a lounging/dining/TV area down below, an owners cabin with centerline berth, and a large head with separate stall shower.

Interior plans like the ones below are suggested variations and are only a starting point for a Shannon owner. We work with you to create the best custom interior imaginable.
