The Shannon 53HPS Galley

The well-equipped and well-organized U-shaped galley includes over and under storage lockers, dishwasher, gimballed stainless steel three-burner propane stove/oven, foot pump backup to pressure fresh water system, ice box with top and side access hatches, refrigeration with 12 VDC compressors, microwave, and top and side access waste container (shown below) Note the opening hatch and the opening portlights for the cook's comfort and pleasure.
Consistent with Shannon's reputation for discreetly concealing an appliance that might detract from Shannon's elegant wood finish, the refrigerator/freezer (right) is built-in and finished with a Euro styling exactly like the other brightwork cabinetry in the galley. The ice box has vacuum panel insulation, vapor barrier, top and side access hatches, and the refrigeration with 12 VDC compressors, all standard.
